Last night, Iris Fields Co-Founder Ariana Gordon Stecker and her husband David were honored by the Manhattan Jewish Experience’s Community Service Award at their 11th Annual Dinner. The dinner was held at the Museum of Jewish Heritage and attend by 600 young professionals.
Together Ariana and David regularly attend MJE sponsored events in New York. Ariana has planned several events including the most recent MJE Downtown Gala and their involvement with this non-profit has deepened their connection to the Jewish community in NYC and in Israel.
Individually, Ariana has delved into learning about the traditions, laws and history of Judaism through MJE. While David heads the Leadership Council at MJE, comprised of MJE participants who volunteer their time and resources to give back to the organization that gives so much to so many.
The MJE Annual Dinner is a yearly dinner and fundrasier for the organization that also features awards for its most dedicated members.
The Manhattan Jewish Experience, founded in 1988 by Rabbi Mark Wildes, is a program for young Jewish professionals who are interested in developing stronger ties to Judaism and other young professionals in the community.
